Old but new Christmas decorations

This year we got to pull out a few new items from our Christmas storage bins. Last year we were gifted a precious moments navitiy set which we have displayed by the front door. Keagan likes to move the pieces around to make sure everyone gets to visit baby Jesus. We also inherited a VERY OLD Santa and Mrs. Clause that Staci grew up seeing every year as a childhood. It was made by one of Grandma Nana's friends. Underneath the outfits you will find very old dish detergent bottles, tinfoil belt, and lots of colorful straight pins. We have it displayed ontop of the Armiour...so that it can stay assembled!!!

Super Hero Keagan, Buzz, Super Why, and Dash

Our little Super Hero loves to pretend he is Buzz Lightyear, Dash from the Increadibles, or Super Why. He had a superhero birthday party back in Aug. and still consistaly asks if he can wear his Buzz Lightyear costume (that is 3 sizes to small) everyday! These pictures were too cute, we just had to share!

New Family pictures

We finally got new family pictures taken back in Aug. and here it is in December when they are finally getting into frames, on the blog, and out of the package they came in! These were taken at Images 4 U which is a new studio down the street that Staci has started working at.

Thanksgiving Parade

Kevin got to be in the Charlotte Thanksgiving Day Parade this year. He was riding one of his Segway's for the Park and Rec Divsion!! Keagan and Mommy decided to go and we drove across town to catch the Lightrail trail. It was the first time we had been on it and Keagan LOVED it! We got on at the last stop on the line so the train was pretty empty but the closer it got to uptown the more crowded it got. By the time we got there, a fly couldn't have sqeezed onto the crowded train.

Keagan loved watching all the bands and Sir Purr from the Panthers on a 4 wheeler.

Thanksgiving Day Parade part 2

Keagan and Buster are waiting for Kevin to come down the street.

He was super excited to see the Monster Struck rolling down.

Near the end of the parade came the turkey....it just about lost it's feathers going under the bridge.

After the parade, we took the train back and enjoyed a quick trip into Old Navy for a Thanksgiving Day Sale. Couldn't pass up the great bargans on hat and mittens!!!

Wow it has been a long time since our last post. And it is a shocker that I have time to update it now, during my busy season. Life has been busy in our household. Kevin's busy season is winding down and Staci's is in overtime. It is Christmas portrait time and allthough Staci didn't advertise this year, she still had a handful of her regulars plus a few new clients that utilized her photography skills this season. In addition to that, we still run to the police stations in the morning, keeping a spunky one year old during the week and Staci has finally started working in a new portrait studio nearby.

To see some of her latest sessions, visit www.portraitsbystaci.blogspot.com.

Keagan helped Kevin make cookies and birthday cake for Staci's birthday. When it was time to open gifts, Keagan said...."Mommy can you help me open your presants?"

Daddy Zurg (Kevin) and Buzz Lightyear (Keagan) are hiding under the table playing superhero's.

Up Next...Kevin was in the Thanksgiving parade.
